Tech exec puts $10m Sydney clifftop home with pool on the market

Tamie Minami, a board director at a technology and manufacturing conglomerate, has put her modern clifftop home at North Curl Curl on the market with a price guide of $10 million.

Minami is listed as director, audit and supervisory committee member at Teijin. The business says its purpose is “pioneering solutions together for a healthy planet” on its website. It has products and services spanning apparel, healthcare, electronics and energy, among others.

A director at a technology conglomerate has put her renovated home in North Curl Curl on the market.

The four-bedroom, four-bathroom residence was bought by Japan-born Minami for $6.25 million in 2017, records show. A renovation was completed three years ago with work including a new kitchen and paving.

The price guide is $10 million and an auction is scheduled for July.

Design notes for the two-level abode include expansive glass to enhance the northerly views that stretch from Long Reef Headland to the Central Coast, a statement Calacatta marble island in the kitchen, timber floors, plantation shutters and terrazzo floors in the bathrooms.

There is a 25-metre lap pool and alfresco zones to kick back and relax in style.

“Compared to the rest of Sydney’s east coast prestige coastline homes, this presents a great opportunity,” listing agent James Eyden of Clarke & Humel Property told this masthead.

Minami joined Teijin in 2023 as a director. She previously held roles at 3M, an American conglomerate, including the vice president for the Latin America and Asia regions.

An auction has been scheduled for July.

Finance pair to sell mansion

Simon Vanstone and Natalie Vanstone, who both work in the financial services sector, have listed their grand Bellevue Hill home with a price guide of $31 million to $32 million.

A modern home in Bellevue Hill with a pool and gym has price hopes of around $31 million to $32 million.

The three-level, seven-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion on about 920 square metres was purchased by the pair for $6.5 million in 2015, records show, and has been enhanced over the years.

Leisure and entertainment is a primary feature of the abode with an eye-catching quartzite island in the kitchen that is fitted out with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, a soundproof cinema, 1200-bottle wine cellar and gym.

There are multiple living and dining zones.

There is also a heated infinity pool and spa, an entertainer’s cabana and barbecue area.

Mr Vanstone was listed as a client adviser at Macquarie Private Wealth, a part of the Macquarie Group. Mrs Vanstone spent 23 years at J.P. Morgan before joining RBC Capital Markets where she is head of global markets Australia.

She is also the president of Women in Banking and Finance, a not-for-profit industry association that supports women across all career stages and addresses gender diversity.

Bellevue Hill is Australia’s most expensive suburb, according to Domain data, with regular top-end sales in the many tens of millions. The median house price is $11 million.

Residents include student housing boss Stephen Gaitanos, the co-founder of Scape Australia, and his wife Emma, who paid $50 million for a six-bedroom home, and Westfield heiress Monica Saunders-Weinberg, who is transforming three properties into a compound.

Dual estate for sale

Former food-packaging businessman Ted Nathan and his wife Jennifer have put their Ravensdale dual estate on the Central Coast on the market with a price guide of $30 million.

A significant estate for sale in Ravensdale includes a main homestead and a second residence.

The Nathans bought two adjoining properties, one for $1.35 million in 2014 and the other for $2.7 million in 2018, records show, and transformed it into a 12-bedroom, 11-bathroom property on 49 hectares.

There is a main homestead with a library and cinema, a sports bar and commercial grade kitchen, a wraparound verandah, championship-sized tennis court, hidden garden with a pétanque court, and a pickleball court.

The price guide is $30 million.

A second residence and guest retreat comes with an entertaining pavilion, a pizza deck and pool.

Mr Nathan was previously a director of Huhtamaki Tailored Packaging, stepping down from the company in 2023, as per ASIC records. Huhtamaki offers sustainable food packaging solutions globally.

Also in 2023, the couple splashed $16.45 million on a Freshwater residence with a pool and uninterrupted beach views, paying the sum to AI and social media start-up founder Matthew Kapp and his wife Joanna Kapp-Cales.

The Nathans also sold their six-bedroom, four-bathroom Warrawee home for $12.2 million in 2023, a residence that was once owned by the late potter Nell Holden of the General Motors Holden family.

The Ravensdale property is listed with Deborah Cullen and Richard Royle of Cullen & Royle.
