The wife of Jaryd Dawson, Jessica, had earlier issued an urgent plea on social media for information on his whereabouts.

“If anyone has seen or heard from Jaryd since around 2.30pm yesterday please please let us know,” she wrote, tagging Jaryd’s mother and sister Marian Dawson and Chloe Cane.

Jordan’s wife Milly also shared the post.

In a press conference, Crows coach Matthew Nicks said his skipper Jordan was absent from training.

“Dawson won’t train unfortunately for personal reasons,” Nicks said during his regular press conference.

Jaryd was the vice captain of the Robe Roosters’ reserves side and the co-founder of boutique home building company Domus Design and Build.
