AFL LIVE: Roos jump Dees in danger match for Melbourne at Marvel; Fremantle three wins clear on top

Dees star Kysaiah Pickett is on the bench having his jaw checked after copping an accidental boot to the mouth.

Pickett was running around a centre ball-up when the boot of the Roos’ ruckman made heavy contact with his mouth.

He came off with a bleeding mouth but could also need further treatment or even a concussion test – he’s gone to the rooms.

Now key defender Daniel Turner has left the ground with sore ribs after taking a blow to the upper body in a contest.

The match review officer has cited star forward Darcy Fogarty for striking and given him a three-game ban, grading the incident with Harry Cunningham as high contact, severe impact, and careless conduct.

Cunningham was forced off with a concussion.

The Crows must now decide if they will challenge the suspension at the AFL tribunal.

But the Roos were rapid in their reply as they pressured Tom Sparrow into an error at half-back and it fell to Spargo who booted his second goal.

The Roos found Jack Darling for a mark after they won the ball from the restart, and he booted a goal.
